Setting Up Vendor Security Cameras in Your Booth

Overview

Vendors are permitted to install personal wireless security cameras (such as Blink, Ring, or micro-wireless cameras) to monitor their individual physical footprint.

Camera Rules & Placement Limits

  • Strict Angle Restrictions: Your camera must be completely wireless and pointed strictly inside your assigned booth space. Cameras cannot face or capture store aisles, neighboring vendor spaces, employee counter areas, or customer checkout registers.
  • Audio Recording & Audio Signs (C.R.S. § 18-9-304): Under Colorado eavesdropping laws, audio recording is strictly prohibited unless you post a clear, visible warning sign inside your booth notifying customers that audio recording is in progress.

Inspection & Enforcement

Store management routinely inspects camera angles. Any camera capturing areas outside your booth boundaries or recording audio without required signage must be adjusted or removed immediately upon notice.
